Too often we read stories about small business owners going to court to fight for their right to not serve various marginalized groups; too often, we see members of these groups fighting for inclusion in the conversation and to be seen and heard as human beings worthy of representation.

In this talk, I will discuss how I turned serving marginalized groups into a unique value proposition that helps me stand out from my competition. From Photoshop-free boudoir images of individuals of all sizes and genders (yes, we're gonna go beyond the binary!) as part of my Every BODY is Beautiful campaign to an LGBT+ service portrait project, I launched my career looking for groups in the margins and working with them as an ally to lift them up!

By the end of this talk, you will be inspired to see what unrepresented group speaks to your heart, to explore how you can lift them beyond the margins and into the spotlight, and how to dovetail your passion for equality with your business and your brand.
