This collaboration provides a platform for rising and established womxn of color professionals to share their experiences and next step strategies as they build powerful communities to create a future for where womxn of color lead at the highest levels across all sectors.

The State of Womxn of Color - Denver tour stop features Future for Us’ State of Womxn of Color data presentation and a panel of phenomenal local leaders who will share personal experiences, discuss how womxn of color can navigate the world of work, and leave us with insights on negotiation, building community, and true allyship. Denver is one of the fastest growing regions in the country, and this moment of growth is the perfect opportunity to build community, and ensure that across all sectors, womxn of color are in visible leadership roles across Denver.

Allies and champions are invited to come together to support womxn of color professionals through community, culture and career development - to create equity of access and opportunities for advancement. Lisa is a Colorado artist who enjoys depicting wildlife and landscapes through her artwork. Her time spent living in Evergreen and Bailey and exploring our beautiful Colorado scenery has given her constant inspiration to capture the bright colors and gestural shapes found in the Rocky Mountains and beyond.
She has spent time touring in the local juried art festivals and has been featured in the Artists of Colorado Magazine, the Evergreen Canyon Courier Newspaper, Parade of Homes and the Denver/Boulder Magazine. She has shown in solo and group shows at numerous local and out-of-state galleries.
She has won awards at the Cripple Creek and Evergreen art festivals. When she's not painting, I enjoy hiking and camping with my family and looking for more inspiration in the great outdoors.
